What the heck is permanent jewelry?

As someone who has been a jewelry maker and designer for over 3 years now, I was a little skeptical of permanent jewelry the first time I came across it on Love is Blind. After seeing on TV it seemed like it just kept popping up everywhere so when I found a booth at a festival, I took the plunge and got a bracelet. I absolutely loved my bracelet and we are still going one year strong.

Last fall I decided to incorporate permanent jewelry into my business and I have to say that it's now one of my favorite types of jewelry to create. With permanent jewelry, you're investing in jewelry made from quality, lasting materials like gold fill and sterling silver that can be custom-designed specifically for you.

What exactly is permanent jewelry?

Permanent jewelry refers to a piece (usually a necklace or bracelet) that's welded together instead of secured with a clasp.

Where can I get permanent jewelry?

Although I do not have a storefront, I participate in pop-ups around the city regularly. If you're local to the Raleigh Triangle area, I have a couple of pop-up events coming up where you can check out my permanent jewelry designs in person!

I'll be at the NCMA on 6/1 and 4/7 from 11-3 with Triangle Pop Up. Or you can always book an in-person appointment to meet up in West Cary by shooting me an email or a DM.

Can I get my bracelet clasped instead of permanently welded?

Yes! Part of the magic of permanent jewelry is designing a custom piece that fits you perfectly - no weird chains hanging off your bracelets or too-loose bracelets. I'm happy to discuss custom permanent jewelry orders over email as well. Just let me know what you have in mind!

Permanent jewelry allows you to invest in long-lasting, quality pieces while getting creative with the design. I love the process of collaborating with clients to bring their unique, permanent jewelry visions to life. We use a broad selection of gold-filled and sterling silver chains and can incorporate semi-precious gem beads and pearls for a truly custom experience.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
